White House Orders Hospitals To Bypass CDC With Data Reporting

President Trump has ordered that hospitals give their Covid-19 reports straight to the White House instead of CDC; some say this could be because the CDC has made numerous mistakes with Covid-19 case numbers. The CDC has reportedly made a mistake in their Covid-19 numbers by adding pneumonia and flu cases, which when subtracted reduced the Covid-19 numbers to an eleven thousand low from a ninety thousand.

  • The database that will collect and store the information is referred to in the document as HHS Protect, which was built in part by data mining and predictive analytics firm Palantir. The Silicon Valley company is known most for its controversial contract work with the US military and other clandestine government agencies as well as for being co-founded and initially funded by Trump ally Peter Thiel.
