Israel Orders British Consulate In East Jerusalem To Close

Israel has ordered the BRITISH CONSULATE IN EAST JERUSALEM to close within 30 DAYS, escalating diplomatic tensions between Israel and the United Kingdom.

The decision came shortly after British Foreign Secretary Ed Miliband announced a ban on imports from Israeli settlements in the occupied West Bank, alongside sanctions targeting companies and individuals involved in settlement expansion.
Once the 30-day deadline expires, British diplomats stationed at the consulate will LOSE THEIR ACCREDITATION.
