Russian President Vladimir Putin says economic ties between Russia and Vietnam are accelerating, with bilateral trade growing 6% LAST YEAR and expanding at nearly DOUBLE THAT RATE in the first six months of 2026.
Cooperation is also strengthening across TRADE, EDUCATION, CULTURE, SECURITY, TRANSPORT AND LOGISTICS, while Russian tourist arrivals in Vietnam have surged by 174%.
Now, Moscow and Hanoi are targeting $15 BILLION IN ANNUAL BILATERAL GOODS TRADE BY 2030, up from around $6 billion.
