Oman says any decision to join BRICS will be made on its own terms.
Speaking at the 18TH BRICS SUMMIT IN NEW DELHI, Oman’s Ambassador to India Issa Saleh Abdullah Alshibani said the country is not currently part of the expanded 11-nation bloc but is CLOSELY FOLLOWING ITS DISCUSSIONS AND OUTCOMES.
The remarks come as Oman remains a key diplomatic player amid the STRAIT OF HORMUZ CRISIS, following Muscat’s indefinite postponement of high-stakes maritime security talks between Iran and Gulf states.
