Former South African president Jacob Zuma is expected to be discharged from hospital on Monday after undergoing medical checks and getting some much-needed rest.
According to a source close to Zuma, he was exhausted from overworking himself but is doing fine. The source also noted that he is diabetic.
Zuma’s hospitalisation in Pietermaritzburg earlier this week sparked speculation about his health, prompting people close to him to dismiss reports surrounding his condition.
