Food Costs | Pork Prices Have Dropped Significantly

Currently, food costs are rising at a 6% annual rate, further burdening already-strapped people.

Pork is 33 percent less expensive than beef and 50 percent less expensive than lamb, according to processed meat producer Eskort.

In this way, it encourages South Africans to eat more pork.
