President Trump Nominates Amy Coney Barrett To Supreme Court

U.S. President Trump announced conservative appellate judge Amy Coney Barrett, whom he called ‘brilliant and gifted,’ as his third Supreme Court appointment, setting off a scramble in the Republican-led Senate to confirm her before Election Day.

Meanwhile, President Trump has said that a New York Times story, which showed he paid 750 US dollars the year he won the presidential election and the year he entered office in tax returns, was “fake news.” He added that he’s paid “a lot” in state income taxes and overall, adding the numbers would come out eventually.
