President Trump said he believes Iran is now interested in reaching a nuclear agreement, suggesting they missed an opportunity by not acting sooner. Referring to the situation, he stated,
“As I’ve been saying, I think a deal will be signed, or something will happen, but a deal will be signed, and I think Iran is foolish not to sign.”
He also mentioned that Iran should have agreed to terms before recent events unfolded.
