Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has warned Iran and its regional allies against attempting to interfere with Israel’s elections scheduled for Tuesday, saying the military is prepared for both defensive and offensive operations.

In a video released by his office on Sunday, Netanyahu said intelligence indications suggested Iran and its proxies could launch attacks to disrupt the polls.

He issued a stern warning to Tehran, threatening “disproportionate blows” if Iran carries out hostile acts against Israel.
With election day approaching, tensions remain high over potential security threats.
