Argentine President Javier Milei has reignited political tensions in Spain after launching a fierce attack on Prime Minister Pedro Sánchez at an economic forum in Madrid, branding him a “disgraceful dictator” and accusing socialist policies of threatening individual liberties and private property.

Milei also challenged a report claiming 66% of Argentines run out of wages before the end of the month, dismissing its findings as an emotional slogan rather than a substantive economic assessment.

The confrontation comes amid heightened political tensions in Spain ahead of the reported November 29 snap election, placing socialism, economic hardship and individual freedom at the centre of an increasingly heated political debate.
