President Cyril Ramaphosa has arrived in New Delhi, India, ahead of the 18TH BRICS SUMMIT, taking place from 12-13 September 2026 under India’s chairship.
South Africa says it will use the summit to push its
ECONOMIC AND DIPLOMATIC PRIORITIES, including greater intra-BRICS trade and investment, value addition and increased investment into AFRICAN INFRASTRUCTURE aligned with the AfCFTA.
But all eyes will also be on Ramaphosa’s planned meeting with Russian President Vladimir Putin on the sidelines of the summit.
