Saudi Foreign Minister PRINCE FAISAL BIN FARHAN has arrived in WASHINGTON for talks with U.S. Secretary of State MARCO RUBIO.
The discussions are expected to cover SAUDI-U.S. RELATIONS, as well as key regional and international developments amid escalating hostilities involving RIYADH AND YEMEN’S IRAN-BACKED HOUTHIS.
The visit follows Saudi Crown Prince MOHAMMED BIN SALMAN’S recent request for U.S. MILITARY ASSISTANCE against the Houthis.
Washington declined the request, opting instead to provide INTELLIGENCE AND TARGETING SUPPORT.
