The Saudi-led military coalition has reportedly launched retaliatory airstrikes against Houthi positions across Saada and Marib, destroying 82 targets, according to coalition spokesman Maj. Gen. Turki al-Maliki.

The strikes targeted ballistic missile storage facilities, command centres, communications systems and weapons depots. A missile launch platform in Sanaa was also reportedly destroyed.

The operation follows Houthi missile and drone attacks on Riyadh’s King Khalid International Airport and Abha International Airport, which Saudi authorities say killed three people and injured 36.

Al-Maliki warned that attacks on civilians and civilian infrastructure will not go unpunished.
