Five hospitals in Siberia have reportedly been placed under a THREE-WEEK QUARANTINE following a suspected plague outbreak.

The development comes after the reported death of 28-year-old lab technician Darya Shipilova, who allegedly broke a test tube containing Yersinia pestis at the Irkutsk Anti-Plague Institute on September 25.

Reports also say a MASK MANDATE has been introduced at a nearby aluminium plant.

⚠️ AUTHORITIES ARE NOW FACING QUESTIONS OVER THE SCOPE AND SOURCE OF THE SUSPECTED OUTBREAK.
