U.S. President Donald Trump has nominated Acting Navy Secretary Hung Cao to become the next SECRETARY OF THE NAVY, continuing a shake-up of senior leadership across the U.S. military.

The announcement comes just ONE DAY AFTER Trump accepted the resignation of Army Secretary Dan Driscoll, and four months after former Navy Secretary John Phelan was removed from his position.

Cao will now be put forward to formally take charge of the Navy as the Trump administration continues reshaping America’s defence leadership.

The BIG question:

WHAT DOES TRUMP’S LATEST MILITARY LEADERSHIP SHAKE-UP SIGNAL ABOUT THE FUTURE DIRECTION OF THE U.S. ARMED FORCES?
