UK HOUSEHOLDS FACE HIGHEST ENERGY BILLS IN 3 YEARS AS PRICE CAP RISES 4%

Millions of British households are facing HIGHER ENERGY BILLS THIS WINTER after Ofgem announced a 4% increase in the energy price cap from October.
Around 22 MILLION HOUSEHOLDS will see the typical annual bill rise from £1,663 TO £1,723, with Ofgem pointing to higher wholesale gas prices linked to the Iran war.

Shadow Energy Secretary Claire Coutinho says the government must “PUT CHEAP ENERGY FIRST.”
