Zimbabwe is strengthening its bid to become a key player in Africa’s trade and payment infrastructure, with construction underway on Afreximbank’s regional office in Harare.

The facility is expected to support billions of dollars in trade transactions, while the Pan-African Payment and Settlement System aims to reduce reliance on payment providers outside the continent and make intra-African trade more efficient.

Discussions at the CEO Africa Round Table in South Africa are focused on strengthening regional business ties and driving economic growth.
